It's been awhile

So a lot of things have happened. I have met some really interesting people, moved into a new place, become a little bit well known in the furry community as an artist, created a lot of new art and so much more.

I am going to start blogging again and be a bit more loyal to it than I have been in the past. My mate and I figure it would be really good for me to start keeping a journal (a physical one), a public blog, and a sketch blog (coming soon to here which I will probably start posting in tomorrow).

I am thinking about writing a couple of books in a couple of years (a little over two to be exact), but I want to get back into writing, taking notes and become a more open person... so that when it comes time to write, I wont have any issues. So you can look forward to hearing me ramble a lot more.

I also have a couple of people that have asked me to mentor them as far as the occult goes. Which I will start writing about as well.

There is so much buzzing about in my head right now it is hard to even think of where I want to start.... but I figure that announcing what I am going to be doing is going to be a really strong start.

Thoughts

I am thinking about turning this blog into a sketch blog. I think it would be a good place to share my thought that I express best through visual arts.

Sorry for not really updating this in a while. I have just been keeping myself buried in work for the past couple of months. But I thought I would let you know what all is going on.

I am going through all my old art college books and brushing up on some of the basics. Because I was wanting to brush up on all the coloring basics, composition, movement in frozen space, and what not. I have also been reading a great book called "Writing for Comics with Peter David" and brushing up on writing skills before I tackle and create a story line for "Twilight's Dance: Beautiful on Paper." I am actually developing several characters so keep an eye on the art work here for sneak peaks to the characters and story line that is going to be part of the upcoming story.

I am also working on getting 30+ "Random of Randomness" comics fully created so that I can be a head of the game once Angel and I start updating twilightsdance.com again. We are also looking at getting a server either sometime this week or two weeks from now. We want the extra space and to get rid of the limitations that Go Daddy has on the web service that they have. I am also trying to finish a layout for twilight's dance that is a bit... prettier. I am also making a website for the company Brisby and I are creating in SecondLife, Masquerade of Dreams.

Speaking of which, Masquerade of Dreams (or MoD) it the Secondlife Avatar company that Brisby and I are trying to get off the ground. It looks like the first two Avatars that we are going to be making are going to be a Unicorn and a Western Dragon. The Company is going to also have little accessories, clothing, furniture, and houses once we get the flow going. Brisby, Angel and Vickie are the only people that involved with the company other than myself. We will be posting pictures of AVs and their progress on our FA accounts.

I also have to get to work on four fairy pictures for a local tattoo shop that is going to be opening soon in my local area. They are going to have a little gallery in it and they are wanting some of the fairies that I make. I will be sure and take photos of them and post them here so you can all see them, I might even release prints of them later down the line, but that is yet to be determined.

And to top all that off I am looking into making a couple calenders, a book of pinup art, some t-shirt designs, mugs and all that jazz. T_T I think I have my work cut out for me. Oh wells. *cranks up some techno and cracks knuckles and wiggles fingers a bit* Wish me luck.... I think the next 3 to 4 weeks are going to be mad busy since I want everything ready by early to mid October. So you will all be seeing a lot of post from me. *Villain Laughter*

Busy Graffiti Dragon

It's been over 22 days since I last posted on my blog. So I thought I would pop in and give a quick update as to what all is going on. I have recently started working on avatar company for Secondlife with my dear friend and pet, Brisby. Keep watching for updates on how that is coming along. We has some exciting plans for what we are releasing and how are releasing them. Along with the help of some of our friends, partners in crime, and some rather large dreams we are going to change things, make people take a second look and maybe even wonder a little.

Let see here, I also recently met two other otherkin that live in my local area. It is always fantastic feeling the energy that is produced when you get more than one otherkin in an area. It's sorta like how certain sounds will cause glasses of wine to vibrate to resonate in harmony. One of them is wanting me to help them meditation techniques and to have some help stepping into the world of metaphysics and beyond the viel. That should be interesting to see if she is really interested in learning about all of that.

I am a bit spacey at the moment, so I will try and come back later to write some more.

Dr. Horrible: Sing-Along Blog

If you are looking for something funny to watch on-line.
I must suggest that you take the time to watch Dr. Horrible Sing Along Blog. Written and directed by Joss Whedon this is a brilliant 40-45 minute tragic-comedy musical about a mad scientist named Dr. Horrible who is recording his daily life with a Blog. It may not seem completely promising for the first couple of minutes, but as soon as you listen to the main character talk about menising laughter lessons and here the song about using a freeze ray to win the heart of his dream girl you will be laughing like there is no tomorrow. Before the end of this movie you will be rooting for the protagonist... who is ironically the villian.

This is availble to watch for free either at the musical's home page www.drhorrible.com or at http://www.hulu.com/watch/28343/dr-horribles-sing-along-blog. The second link will take you to hulu.com which will make it easier to full screen the video.

Reflecting Pool

For a good portion of my life I have been dwelling in the past, focusing on things on things that I can never change or have any control over. And if the past didn't have me wrapped up in it's coiling tentacles I would be tripping over myself focusing on the infinite possibilities of the future. For a good portion of those rolling years I lived by the philosophy of "Too Strange to Live, Too Unique to Die"... which caused me to reflect and daydream. I came to the realization that I have had a rather negative outlook on life and so I started really looking at my self with the encouragement of Angel... to actually try and find inner peace and happiness.

I have created this blog as a sort of meditation, and a place to share what is rolling around in this skull of mine. And a place for people interested in learning more about the writer and illustrator of Twilight's Dance to come and have a bit of a more direct experience in getting to know me.

So I am starting off this Blog with the new Philosophy that I am going to live my life...

Yesterday is History
Tomorrow is a Mystery
But Today is a Gift
That is Why it is called the Present
